Illegal Mining is crippling the development of this country rendering to our water bodies contamination, posing threat to aquatic life and spreading of diseases
This manifestation and unending fight against Galamsey will not be solved until the illegal is made legal and sanctioned to regulate it's activities.
Which government is willing to take this political Suicide ?
The capitalists (Rich persons) and Politicians in this country continue to blind the media and citizens about the unending battle of this disease(Galamsey ).
Galamsey has stood tall because of the selfish interest of some politicians and capitalist who are men behind the mask without looking at the implications it could plunge the country into. Other Countries (Like China) tend to use their bilateral relation with the country to engage in the activity with the Notion of "Providing Jobs for the Citizens of Ghana" and when sanctioned, tend to threat the government to withhold their support. My foot !! Which jobs ?....Jobs that has the ability to render us hopeless in the near future. Our water bodies are dying.The health needs of Ghanaians are compromised. The land is gradually waning out by some section of the Ghanaian Population nearly less than one million.
Fighting Galamsey is the fight of all for Ghanaians to be part of. Which Government is willing to take this Political Suicide to free this country from this disguise slavery ? Who will sacrifice power and be a strong advocate against this canker ?? Who will save this Country ? Who will save Africa ? Who will save Ghana ?
